Are You Learning to Drive

Most learner drivers are primarily concerned with getting their license as quickly as possible and at the lowest possible cost. There is nothing wrong with this attitude. Time and driving lessons are expensive. But you may have to ask yourself the fundamental question, regardless of whether you are learning to drive with an automatic or manual transmission, “do I want to learn to drive or pass the driving test?” Once you have your license, you are solely responsible for your actions as a road user. So it is in your own long-term interest that you can drive a car safely and in accordance with the applicable rules.

“Which is better, automatic or manual?” There is no simple answer. Everyone has to answer this question for themselves. If you want to get your driver’s license as quickly and cheaply as possible, then you should choose the automatic transmission. But if you want to be more flexible in the long term, the manual transmission may be the better choice.
